Engagement structure
The York Agency (YA) operates as a sole-proprietor sub-contracting studio. Engagements are scoped per project or per retainer and confirmed in writing before work begins.
Billing
All projects bill on a fixed-bid milestone structure: 50% commencement deposit before production begins, 50% on final delivery. We do not bill hourly and do not invoice on Net-30 terms unless an existing agency MSA requires it.
Confidentiality
Mutual non-disclosure is standard on all white-label engagements. We will sign your agency's NDA, or supply our own. Deliverables produced under a white-label engagement are not publicly attributed to YA.
Intellectual property
On receipt of the final milestone payment, all rights, title, and interest in the delivered work transfer to the contracting party. Pre-existing tools, libraries, and frameworks used to produce the work remain ours.
Scope & warranty
Work is delivered to the agreed scope. Revisions outside the documented scope are billed as a new milestone. No warranty is offered beyond the specific deliverables described in the engagement agreement.
